How to start or renew a subscription

Detailed steps for subscribing, renewing, and understanding auto-renewal.

Starting a subscription

  • Visit the Comment website and navigate to the subscription page at https://comment.org/subscribe.
  • Choose the desired subscription plan.
  • Fill in the required personal and payment information.
  • Confirm the subscription by clicking the "Subscribe" button.
  • A confirmation email with subscription details will be sent.

Please be aware that for print subscriptions, the timing of your first issue may vary. Depending on when you subscribe relative to our quarterly editorial release schedule, you might receive your first print issue up to three months after your subscription begins. See our editorial release schedule for more information.

Renewing a subscription

  • Log in to your Comment account at https://comment.org/my-account/.
  • Go to the "Subscriptions" section.
  • Select 'View' for the subscription you wish to renew.
  • Click the "Resubscribe" button.
  • Update any necessary shipping and payment information and click the 'Resubscribe' button at the bottom of the checkout page.
  • A confirmation email will be sent with renewal details.
